The studies are not in yet but the number of people using cellphones is growing at a lightning fast clip without regard to the possibilities of getting cancerous tumors in your head the amount of minutes we talk on our cellulars has steady gone up to 780 minutes per month.

Larry king has ran a number of specials on the debate with the last being about the death of celebrity laywer Johnnie Cochran from an inoperable brain tumor.

Now all phones sold in the U.S. must have a SAR below 1.66 watts per kilogram (W/Kg) according to the FCC whose guidelines have not been updated since 1996. And despite the debate now 41 percent of children aged 8-12 have cellular phones.

There’s plenty of good science for and against cellphones causing cancer and the debate is going to go on for some time sadly and im reminded of another industry that would’nt admit to their product doing any harm to people until their was conclusive evidence and many many sick and dead each year, does anyone remember big tobacco and what they have done to us? does anyone remember big tobacco with their lobbyists and laywers, the executives lying before congress for decades?

I’m wondering how much it would eat into the mobile phone makers profits to err on the side of caution and make phones that have some sort of protection from the radio waves? Don’t these executives have children? i wonder if they use cellphones?
