Like angry children abandoned by parents who couldn't care less, these pages were testament of how rage in its rawest, unsuppressed form can be transformed to full effect as the most potent form of retaliation to society's lethal apathy.

The Write Turn - Design Anarchy Edited by: Adbusters Editor-in-chief Kalle Lasn Published by: Adbuster Media

Children belong to the most innocent, untainted group of human beings. They may not have learnt about moral values, but when their instincts are confronted, they can tell what is right or wrong. They may not have entered a classroom and be enlightened by the teachings of masters, but the less cluttered their brains are, the more they understand the basic decency of what being human truly entails. What they lack in the cold hard currency that the adult world barters in, they more than made up for it with their steadfast allegiance to nothing but the honest version of the truth.

In an interview on the Australia Radio National program, All in the Mind, Lasn points out that there's something very wrong with our society, and despite the ongoing hype about the increasing power of self-publishing, the problem stems from the loss of clarity and in cultural and information diversity. Needless to say, the hardball stance taken by Lasn and his team has not gone down well with the mass media, whose bread and butter comes from the big boy advertisers, the same ones whose products we've been told to avoid for the long-term good of humanity. It's not that they don't understand where he's coming from, rather, because they depend so much on that condemned machinery for survival, the easy way out is to ignore him and banish his troublesome self to the shadows.
