I saw a posting for an account planner on Talent Zoo today, for Leo Burnett. I'm not qualified for this, but I saw the position would work with associate planners. This piqued my interest because I didn't think there was such an entry-level job for planning.

Does anyone know 1) of agencies that hire entry-level account planners...

or

2) if you work in planning and could share some insights into the discipline?

I've been out of school for 1.5 yrs, have done an account service internship in Minneapolis, and am temping at the moment. Basically, I've been on the job search since graduating. Fun. Just kidding.

Account service and planning are two different things I realize, but I have a gut feeling I would make a great planner...if anyone could help me flesh out the basics of planning...I'd like to chat.
