Luxury brand, Louis Vuitton gets created with a multi-college campus promotion. A branding campaign to raise awareness for the definitive luxury brand started about 2 weeks ago and has been all over the Yale University campus and many other campuses nationwide. Pictures and a write up is here:

Thanks for the "Welcome Back" Kim- any publicity is good publicity (within reason) and even the negative publicity they are receiving - Louis Vuitton is getting some great awareness....Just like GoDaddy's Superbowl ad.

Wow! Idea is brilliant considering they get groups of folks to help the brand with for FREE. Whoever thought of it should get a raise!

As for the Chalk issue - in the first photo you can see some sort of spray bottle near the upper left portion of the ad. I don't buy the "chalk" which leads me to feel the same way as the article's author: it can't be chalk. Because they are more or less branded shapes I care a little less, if it were a blatant display of words and pictures that's another thing. Since other "chalk" displays disappear upon the first couple of waterings, I have to wonder how long this will last. And if I were the dean I for sure would check with Louis Vuitton and make them pay for clean-up - or at least help deal with it. Oh - Hi Darren - nice to see you back :)
