I'm thinking I really should visit Portugal in the near future. Sounds like the people there have their priorities in order:

The article basically says that there's a nice campaign going on in the gyms in two major Portugese cities advocating the drinking of beer for health. The catch? A woman jumping rope next to a big mug o' beer.

Can I even begin to share how happy I get when I think of a big mug o' beer? Not "of" beer -- "o'" beer, specifically.

I love this business. Somebody actually got paid to create that campaign. Hell, I'd have done it for a big mug o' beer.

I sometimes stop and think "Ha! I get paid to do this!" Then I laugh out loud because I think of all the times I've had to try and describe what I do and people don't get it. Which makes it better for me. If they got it, we'd have a tougher time finding a good gig!

Seriously Kevin - I know what you mean. I would have loved to have been in the original pitch meeting just to hear: "Well there this woman see, and she's jumping rope, oh! and there's beer...a big mug o' beer, yeah..."

If beer is supposed to prevent dimentia then how come we have drunken lunatics running around? :P
