i've searched, I swear, but can't seem to find anything set up where we can try and set up meetings with each other. i'm a writer in nyc looking for an AD to work with on some spec stuff, maybe revise some existing stuff, but don't know how to ask. i feel so lonely and everything's getting bleaker by the minute...sorry, wrong message board. anyhows, am I missing something here?

Yeah Mark--I did that a few years ago. As an Art Director looking for a writer and vice versa. The only person I met who was good was a guy I was already good friends with. Everyone else was like "Oh, I know a little Photoshop." or "I wrote a novel, and now I think I want to write advertising." EWW

Thank God. I have been trying out copywriters I have met through Craigslist and it is damn frustrating.
