In the immortal words of Monty Python's Elderly Plague Victim...I'm not dead yet. (And neither is the Chicago Adholes group dammit).

So - that in mind. We should plan a get together. A shindig. A partée if you will. I can name places that work for me, but my location and schedule are more than a bit wonky.

That in mind. I'm going to suggest either Thursday or Friday the 1st and 2nd of December. Somewhere downtown/river north ish and hope the rest of you have thoughts.

If you don't I'll just take my ass down to the peppermill and get drunk like last time. And nobody (I mean nobody) really wants that.

Do me proud chicago. Your baseball suprised me. Your football is trying. Soccer gave it a shot and failed, Hockey is still on the fence. I want to be better than .500 here.

Billy Goat Gruff - Out.

Will--Unfortunately, over the years, I have found Chicago to be a meat & potatoes & white bread kind type of town, with an overall pedestrian attitude AND a lake-effect outlook AND predominately gray sky infested, boring induced, mid-western lifestyle resulting type of attitude AND a package goods orientated, safe, yet professionally executed, yet non-awarding winning type of work produced attitude AND a non-gung-ho practitioner attitude AND little esprit d’ core towards the advertising business in general attitude; other than making ones living from it. Taking, but not willing to give much back in return. Even less of an attitude toward supporting an advertising club, or a networking group. Of course, being surrounded by Wisconsin, lowa, Indiana, Missouri and Kentucky doesn’t help either. (God help me, I still love it so.) Crickets continued…
