Hey Friends, I'd like to find out if any of you guys/gals think this TV spot is in any way offensive or disrespectful. Now that we're in a post Imus world, we can’t risk offending anyone. This ad is part of a four spot campaign that was preceded by a four spot campaign last year. The first four resulted in a nearly 20% increase in sales over the course of the twelve months that they ran. A couple of them were somewhat controversial, and despite the great results from the previous run, the client is getting cold feet about running the new ones. You can see them all on my Youtube page. Sheesh Gary! Don't hold back or anything. Remember the rule of electronic communication is that you don't say anything you wouldn't say in person, face-2-face.

The acting is offensive. The lack of a concept is offensive. The stupid product is offensive. I hope you don't get defensive.

I don't find it offensive, but nor do I find it funny.

Well, I hope you can handle criticism. I think the ad started to get funny, but didn't fit the message. In other words a non sequitur. However, I think it would work for something else. Just an amateur opinion. And no, I don't find it offensive at all, but my wife might. :-)

Ummmm. No. Not at all. But, you're probably asking the wrong group. I find it's hard to offend any advertising people unless you call their concepts CRAP.
