Getting Fired The Old Fashioned Way

He gets tired of sitting in meetings where someone is reading a Power Point Presentation while everyone reads along with their handouts. He points out this is a terrible waste of the client’s money as well as everyone’s time. He makes the obvious observation that people do not go to Book Club meetings and read the book; rather they go to Book Club meetings AFTER they’ve read the book to discuss the book. That's why it makes sense for agency staffers to read the handout/presentation BEFORE the meeting so they have something to discuss AT the meeting. He muses aloud, “Is this public school or an ad agency?” He is fired. Again.

And yet... Chimps don't make analogies. The elegance of it. Sample Chimp severance package: 1 month of bananas and you get to keep the tire. Note to self: hire more chimps.
