For too long now has our food industry poisoned us with lards, mercury, and tons of other toxins and crap not meant to be eaten. The “unhealth” of America is disgusting and I’m sick of pharmaceutical companies “saving the day” with their newest version of some wonder drug. How about you make food that doesn’t give me high cholesterol so I don’t have to buy your damn medicine…o yeah…that’s right…how then would you get rich? And the worst part about this whole ugly cycle, is that our lawmakers are well paid by the food and pharmaceutical industries to look the other way, making them penny hungry bitches bending over to pass whatever advantageous bill the industries propose. Or if you’re going to put arsenic, lead, sulfates and other toxins in to my food, the proper thing to do would to at least tell me they’re in there so I can chose to get cancer or not. I mean what the hell are the “spices” and “natural ingredients” listed under ingredients? And why the hell is high fructose corn syrup in every thing I want to buy? I mean damn…food package designers might as well stop leaving the nutritional information space blank and fill it with a big skull and cross bones. Sickness is big business in America. And while the Democrats are in a unique position to fix many of the Bush’s foul-ups, perhaps going after the advertising by pharmaceutical companies just isn’t the right answer for improving Americas health. Come on Democrats…let’s grow so damn balls, cut the crap and address the real issue here. The problem isn’t that we advertise too soon after a drug is released–no, this is merely a byproduct of deception, a way to more quilckly satisfy greed. The real problem is that rich, big business representatives and lobbyist have exploited a basic human necessity: health.

I love how organic foods need to be labeled, ie. called out as not normal, whereas the bio-bastardized mutant food doesn't need any labeling at all. Another sad part of this whole equation is that the big corps are also feeding (pardon the bad pun) into our need to get a great deal. When did people become so penny rich and dollar poor? Do you SEE these gallon cartoons of goldfish crackers, now a staple on supermarket shelves?

Survival of the fittist, or the smartest, or the well informed... never put your life in the hands of any industry, unless of course you're buying what they're selling... which, of course, most everyone does... p.s. I despise lobbyists, those who can't do... do it to someone else...

Uranium would technically be considered a natural ingredient. Plutonium would not be. I alo found you some creative love here - if you can afford here. http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/er...
