My proposal for a new US Governmental Seal: Buddy 'Friendly' Wachenheimer (your next President), today announced that we should change our national emblem from an Eagle to a CONDOM because it more accurately reflects our government's political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed! (Damn, it just doesn't get more accurate than that, no?)

U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary Robert Kimmitt said he would not comment on the weakness of the U.S. dollar on Saturday after the currency slid to a record low against the euro on Friday. Kimmitt told reporters that only his boss, U.S. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, makes comments on the dollar on behalf of the U.S. Treasury. "There is only one person who can speak about the dollar... I will leave it there," he said at a conference in Brussels. The euro pushed over $1.3680, the highest level since the launch of the common European currency in 1999, after a report showed the U.S. economy grew by just 1.3 percent in the first quarter of the year. Kimmitt also reiterated U.S. concerns that China's currency is too weak, helping its soaring exports. "We have made it quite clear to the Chinese that they need to move quicker on their currency, to move to (an) underlying market valuation based on fundamental economic principles," he said during a debate at the conference. The yuan has risen about 5 percent since it was revalued by 2.1 percent against the dollar in July 2005 and cut loose from a dollar peg to float within managed bands. U.S. lawmakers are preparing bills that would punish China unless it revalues the yuan.

“The actions of Osama bin Laden, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Taliban, even if they kill women and children, are perfectly justified in Islam.” These chilling words, presaging more murder and mayhem, were casually uttered on a sunny day under a blue Indian sky by the politest of young men. The speaker was our host, Aijaz Qasmi, always smiling faintly behind his thick glasses and beard, and dressed in traditional South Asian Muslim attire, white linen pants with a long coat and small white skullcap. He was escorting me and my companions to an important stop on our journey into Islam: Deoband, the preeminent madrassah, or religious educational center, of South Asian Islam. Aijaz was one of its chief ideologues.

OK, maybe I was in a bad mood, but I am not easily offended. Here is a funny one - definitely not PC. Also, you had to be an adult in the 80s to get it. Q: Who killed more Indians than Custer? A: Union Carbide!

The "third world" has more democracies than the first world. And India, with a population of 1.2 billion, is the world's largest democracy. And America is fast losing all semblance to a democracy thanks to an apathetic public who doesn't care that their government has made a mockery of our freedoms. Where less than 50% people vote... oh forget about it, I'll go watch TV and let them tell me what to think.

Just let lawlessness prevail, Americans don’t care anymore; let subjugation and injustice reign where ever it will and don’t forget to pass the f*ckin buck.
