:

Why Hill-o-beans is YOUR bitch in 2008!

Conventional wisdom puts Hillary Clinton’s (aka: "Hill-o-beans") chances of becoming the next president of the United States at the top of the list of either party’s contenders. As a conservative Republican, this doesn’t bother me. Senator Clinton is an astute, clever politician. She’s also an intelligent woman who has one of the country's cleverest politicians, Bill Clinton to advise her.

Senator Clinton’s political history has been one of accommodation. First, she was a Republican following her family’s political leanings. When she made the decision to tie her future political aspirations to Bill Clinton she switched to the Democratic Party. Her conversion to liberal beliefs wasn’t long in coming. Senator Clinton has a talent for making square pegs fit round holes. Given her celebrity status, Senator Clinton has been careful to spend her time in the Senate as a background player. When she occasionally speaks out on important issues, it’s with fence startling skill. Senator Clinton is careful to balance center [slightly left] on all the important issues of the day. Her goal seems to be never offend voters regardless of party affiliation.

If trends continue, Republicans continue to gain seats in the House and the Senate. By the time Senator Clinton takes the oath of office for the presidency Republicans will have a safe enough majority in both houses of congress to bring President Clinton in line. However, I doubt that would ever be necessary. Senator Clinton had eight years in the shadow of a president. Bill Clinton

The first two year of the Clinton presidency were somewhat lackluster. His presidency began to take on successes two years in with Newt Gingrich’s Contract with America. Successful programs the Clinton administration took credit for. It’s only stealing if the media says you’re stealing.

Should Senator Clinton become president she’ll do whatever it takes to assure she leaves a legacy of successes. Knowing presidents aren’t dictators and are only one voice among thousands of government employees and elected officials she will be very careful not to waste her words. Senator Clinton if elected will do anything, go to any lengths to make sure the first woman president is remembered with the greats, Washington, Lincoln, Reagan. So far Senator Clinton hasn’t done anything to discredit her public service. On the other hand she hasn’t accomplished much, that’s to be expected of a junior senator from any state. John Kerry’s been in congress 20 years and hasn’t authored a single worth while bill as of now.

Circumstances and a desire for achievement will make Hillary Clinton an accommodating and not obstructionist president. In her zeal to succeed, the realties of what the American voter really thinks and expects will dictate the course a third Clinton Presidency will take.

A Clinton presidency could benefit the Republican Party as well.

The arrogance of power can become a cancer on politics. We see this in the Liberal segment of the Democratic Party. Very important issues go unattended while senators worry if a name of a CIA clerk was leaked. This is got-chya politics at it’s worst. If not held in check Republicans will suffer the same fate. The two party system is the salvation of American Politics. Hillary Clinton the conformist can negotiate her way through the politics of politics.

I think she’d be acceptable as president providing she isn’t backed up by a Democratic congress.

I'm in NY. Getting ready to move to Pennsylvania. I believe the libs are the ones who have trouble with the forms, but only if their candidate loses.

. . . particularly a wop midget redneck like Cacciatore, who simply considers you to be a melanzana (eggplant) scumbag. BEWARE OF THAT_neo-Nazi, ultra right-wing fundamentalist zealot, quasi-fascist-militant, Nixon-loving heartless bastard Republican-voting mega-asshole who actually voted for Dubya, twice.

AGAIN---BUTTOMLINE--- enough of these lies, half truths, misrepresentations, and omissions you bow wow sounding, ass licking, birdseed shitting, lice infected, Chicken Cacciatore mama-mia-fucker, here are the facts. . . . . the GOP/BUSH MISTAKES which were and are their fault, their doing, because these mistakes were done on their 8 year long watch. . . . .Mistakes that allowed the 911 attack to happen. . . . . A mistake called Iraq, which drains lives, money, resources to buttress up Bush lies and deceptions. . . . . A mistake called the real estate / financial services crash. . . . . A mistake called the crash of our monetary system-dollar. . . . . A mistake called our current major recession. . . . . The mistake of starting out with a surplus budget of $500,000,000, then turning it into a debt of 9 trillion, with 40 trillion in commitments. . . . . A mistake called global warming that the USA continues to be the biggest contributor and violator in the world. . . . . A mistake called tarnishing the image and reputation of our country in the eyes of the world after 911. . . . .A mistake called creating the largest bureaucracy and waste of money in the entire history of our country called homeland security. . . . . and this is just the tip of the ice berg of wasteful spending, spending money they don’t have, borrowing money that can’t ever be paid, lack of management, lack of vision, poor judgment, lies, omissions, and fraud. WHY THE GOP WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BREAK OR DESTROY PARTS OF OUR COUNTRY, ANYMORE! AND, WHY A TIRED OLD OVER THE HILL BROKEN DOWN SLAVE LIKE McCAIN DOESN'T HAVE A CHANCE IN HELL OF "EVER" WINNING IN 2008. By God...

America poops on the libs. Again. Gallup: Obama has 'statistically significant' lead He leads Clinton 50%-43% in survey of Democrats. Both of them trail McCain in general election match-ups, though.

1) 9/11 took years of planning, not months. Clinton is to blame. You are wrong. 2) If there was one shed of real evidence that Bush lied, he'd be gone. The Dems would see to that and you know it. You are wrong. 3) The cost of not invading Iraq would have been higher later than dealing with it now. A representative government there will eventually spread throughout the Middle East, just like it has in Japan and Germany, where they said it never would. You are wrong. 4) Saddam, a man who killed over 1 million people, is dead. Women are now free to get an education. I thought you libs were supposed to be the humanitarians? You are wrong. 5) The reason for the surplus turning into debt is based on several factors: A) 9/11 - Not Bush's fault - see above B) The Creation of the Euro - Not Bush's fault C) Corporate Scandals like Enron, etc. that did most of their cheating under Clinton's watch. D) Unless Bush ran around and told everyone to over-invest in real-estate, it's not his fault. People got greedy, that's on them. It's called a free market - capitalism - risk and reward. You are wrong. 6) As for tarnishing the reputation of our country? Hah. This country has always had to do the heavy lifting. Who cares what a crooked Soviet leader thinks? Or a French leader who has to woo the Muslim vote, which is now 20% of France? French and Russian weapons were used to kill our men in Iraq. And you want their approval? You're worried they don't like us? Where's your outrage, Q? Pointed at Bush? Come on. You think other countries give two shits about you? The UN is full of representatives from every nation who are there to look after themselves only. I know people who work there and they will tell you that to your face. It's a joke. We have been unpopular before and will be so again. It's called the burden of leadership. Churchill carried it. Roosevelt carried it. Reagan carried it. And so has Bush.

Yep, knew that. Both Are - Kansas and the Dubya Black thang. I mean, c'mon, the two most powerful black people in office ever have been Colin Powell and Condi Rice. Funny the liberal press never really picks up on that.

I like the GOP cos DUBYA actually hired negroes - rather than having them them make butter beans and cheddar curd in that rusty old hen house in Arkansas. Did u kno that Arkansas is really "Are and "Kansas" put together? My mother told me that.

I agree Olivia. The GOP has blown up or broken 'everything' that they have touched over the past eight years. That clearly demonstrates their lack of ability to ever govern again.
